2013 Color Sunday Adventure Challenge

at Powderhorn Ski Resort in Mesa CO
The Powderhorn Racing Club (PRC) in collaboration with the Western Slope Center for Children (WSCC), and the new management at Powderhorn Ski Resort, will bring back the Thigunawat 10K Trail Run for a fourth year in the series. This year a 3K Team Adventure Run and a Kid's Obstacle Fun Run have been added. The combination of all three events comprises the Color Sunday Adventure Challenge. Proceeds from this event will be equally distributed between Powderhorn Racing Club and Western Slope Center for Children.

10K Thigunawat Trail Race
9:30 Start $35 Adult Entry $15 Youth Entry (17 & Under) Up and down ski area steeps, with sections of narrow trail crossing creeks, streams and ankle deep mud. A REAL trail 10K to challenge even veteran runners. 10K and Adventure Race Waiver (to speed the race day process have your waiver filled out) |
3K Team Adventure Run
12:00 Start Teams of 1-4 ($25 each) Teams of 5+ ($20 each) Goal is to get all the members of your team through the course. Navigate over and under obstacles and hay bales, up a mud slope, down a narrow trail navigating around beaver ponds and some water, then up, up, including parking lot stairs, to finish near the sun deck. 3K Adventure Race Waiver (to speed the race day process have your waiver filled out) |
Kid's Obstacle Fun Run
Immediately following 3K run Free Ages 12 & under A fun run for kids with obstacles, mud, water & more around the base of Powderhorn Resort. Be prepared to get muddy and have lots of FUN! Kid's Race Waiver (to speed the race day process have your waiver filled out) |
